On Saturday 7th October 2017, E Sargeant & Son Maidenhead held an official opening and chapel dedication.

The Maidenhead branch was relocated to its current site as the previous facility was in an area of the town that was earmarked for re-development.

The service was kindly led by Rev Sally Lynch from St Luke’s Church, Maidenhead and Civil Celebrant Gail Kemp. The Worshipful The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, Councillor John Lenton and Lady Mayoress Mrs Margaret Lenton attended the service and released a dove, a symbol of love and peace, before unveiling a plaque in the reception area.

E Sargeant & Son were pleased to present The Mayor with a cheque for Thames Hospice; one of the Mayor’s chosen charities.

Area Development Manager, Mark Clements said ”It was a delightful day and we are so grateful to Sally and Gail for leading the service. It was an honour to have the Mayor and Mayoress present especially as we know they are always busy with engagements

E Sargeant & Son has been an integral part of Maidenhead life for nearly three decades so we were very pleased to be able to relocate to our new home at 118 High Street. The new facility has a very calming feel to it and families will always receive a warm and caring welcome”.
