On Saturday 12 May, Teignmouth Beach turned rainbow-coloured as hundreds of people completed in South Devon’s brightest 5k, The Colour Rush pledging to raise an incredible £46,000 for Rowcroft Hospice. The 5k Colour Rush route started and finished at The Den on Teignmouth seafront in Devon

Every pound raised will help to support thousands of local people and families who are living with life-limiting illnesses in Teignbridge, and across South Devon.

Julie Adams and her 8 year old son Jack were two of over 800 participants who completed the annual event which is now into its third year.

‘It was mighty good fun and for an amazing charity’ said Julie on completing the run. ‘I’m looking forward to signing up again in 2019, but next time I will be getting the rest of the Choice Team involved too’

On completing the 5k all the runners and racers were invited to take part in Rowcroft’s legendary mass paint throw and got to relax and enjoy an afternoon of live music from some of South Devon’s top bands and musicians!
